"My students inspire me to be better every day by giving it my all."
I MOVED TO LAKE HAVASU BECAUSE
I moved here the week after graduating high school to be with my parents. I've loved the small town feel and the amazing lake and outdoor adventures. The sunsets are unbeatable!
I am going into my second year of teaching.
PERSONAL INTERESTS AND/OR COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Reading, being with my family, and my shepherd mix Luna!
I WAS INSPIRED TO BE A TEACHER BECAUSE
I've always known that I wanted to work with children. As I was going through my college career I knew it would be through teaching. Children are our future and a teacher has the opportunity to truly shape a child's outlook on education, school, and their own goals.I want to be that teacher that children always remember fondly as "that teacher" "my favorite".
Dream classroom item:20 MacBooks
In todays world technology is changing at a rapid pace. Children are able to get information at a moment's click. Technology is an amazing resource for education at every age. Due to poor funding my students aren't able to have updated technology let alone one on one technology. If we were able to even have just 20 MacBooks for our classroom, it would allow hundreds of doors to open for my students. It would allow for more diverse learners to flourish and students opportunities to be engaged without realizing how much they're learning. The options are not only priceless but limitless and our students deserve that opportunity!
