"My students inspire me to bring my best game to work every day because I don't expect them to let me down, so I can't let them down."
I MOVED TO LAKE HAVASU BECAUSE
I have been a proud resident of Lake Havasu City since I was born. I left for a short period to go to Northern Arizona University for my bachelor'a degree, but my family, the support from the community, and the friendly environment was what brought me back to stay.
I was a long term sub for 7 months in 2012-13 at Lake Havasu High School and am now starting fresh for the 2018-19 school year.
PERSONAL INTERESTS AND/OR COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
I enjoy exercise, the outdoors, learning and using the latest technology devices, spending time with my family, and training clients in my home gym business, Feral Instinct Fitness. I have been a member of the Lake Havasu City community since I was born here in 1989 and gone through the school district in which I will be teaching. I have served this community as an emergency medical technician, donated to a local participant in the Miss Teen USA pageant through my gym, and am greatly looking forward to bringing forth upstanding young individuals to keep our community moving forward.
I WAS INSPIRED TO BE A TEACHER BECAUSE
I was initially inspired to teach in 2012 because I grew up loving the district I was part of as a child and wanted to give back. I came back to teaching because becoming a father gave me a greater love and value for children and made me want to be a part of their growth and development. I want to make life values an essential part of student growth, not just academics.
